Actions DNB is taking
  • At D&B, we have established a dedicated phone number – 866.376.3092 – for business owners in the affected areas to provide information about the impact they have experienced.
  • We are placing Special Notices in our reports identifying businesses located in the state designated areas. As we determine an updated status as a result of our investigations, information will be added to our reports.
  • We are continuing to focus our resources on updating information as quickly as possible.

Stay informed with D&B
Following are some useful tips for using our report monitoring options to keep track of businesses in the impacted areas:
  • DNBi customers can include accounts in the impacted area in their portfolio to receive report updates and information alerts. Be sure to have an alert profile assigned to your portfolio and verify that the monitoring profile includes “Special Event” updates. It may also be beneficial to create a custom folder for Midwest Flooding Accounts and assign an alert profile which includes "Special Events" to that folder. If you need assistance in either modifying your alert profile or creating a custom folder, contact your D&B Relationship Manager.
  • Alert Services offer you several options for monitoring based on a single report, all inquiries or a customized list of accounts.
    • – Business Monitoring – When you request an individual BIR or Comprehensive Report, you will receive the option to monitor changes over the next 12 months.
    • – Inquiry Monitoring – You can choose to monitor the previous 12 months of inquiries. This includes daily notifications of changes with any special event updates.
    • – List Monitoring – You can provide us with a specific listing of the accounts you want to monitor and we will develop a Custom Profile. You can choose any of 13 data elements and the frequency with which you want to receive updates.

If you do not currently subscribe to these services and would like to, please contact your D&B Relationship Manager or our Customer Service Center at 1.800.234.3867 to discuss which of these options will best meet your needs.
